....I thought of the Sally Potter adaptation of the VIrginia Woolf novel......and, meditating on the 'labyrinth' scene, reached across my bed to remove the old Navaho silver 'bolo' that has the same theme......Later, having 'passed out' from exhaustion...still wearing the silver bolo, I dreamt of elaborate mazes and labyrinths, as my sub-conscious mind peered into locked compartmentalized thinking constructs and confined memories......Awakening, again, before Dawn, when Merlin jumped onto the bed....his foot 'hitting' the 'ON' button to the DVR.......to the eternal conundrum of 'Newspeak' and anxiety-laden 'reports' on 'what's happening'......Then, looking around, by the early light of sunrise, I noticed that I was the only 'alert' thing in the room.....The sculptures seemed.....deep; in slumber, still......I need a cherry danish and a strong cappuccino! It's so quiet this morning, that I fantasized about an old 'bedtime story'.....vague, now...still in it's little cell of my mental labyrinth......from childhood.....illustrated by Edmund Dulac.....wherein the 'princess' is covered in a cloud of 'Sleep'.....but, then, the Genie appeared as the sun came through the window, asking 'What do you want, now?".....

The health books and charts shown to children usually stress the importance of "hot meals"......and many people have been brainwashed into thinking that a "hot meal" is better or even more nutritious than a "cold meal". I have always thought that, in addition to wasting the equivalent of a couple of kilos of fossil fuels in the preparation of "hot" food, much of the nutritional value of the food is lost in the cooking process......this illogical and false attitude makes about as much sense as "don't go out in the rain.....you'll get a cold...or a fever...." and other untruths.... i buy most of my food at Whole Foods....practically all from the cold and uncooked food displays.......some things are tastier hot or cold, some things must be cooked to be edible or to kill harmful bacteria; but, for the most part, raw food rules my diet... I haven't had a cold, flu, or sickness of any kind in several years.......go figure! S

I dreamed the green fairy night with dazzled snows, going up to the eyes of the seas with eternities of languid, oozing slowness, the circulation of the burning saps, And the yellow and blue awakening of phosphorus in the skies of dreaming.
